Rural communities in Guatemala are characterised by a high percentage of school dropout, difficult access to education, food insecurity and social and economic discrimination of women. The intervention sectors are education and school, security and food sovereignty, human rights and women’s rights.
In particular, it would be guarantee access to education to girls through scholarship programmes; whereas mothers would actively participate to formation processes on topics such as bio agriculture and food security.
