The context
Since 2011, Tunisia has begun a long process of democratic transformation of its civil society and its institutions.
The project is developed on two levels
- with the municipal authorities to improve their skills
- with associations that provide basic services to the population to widen the involvement of civil society in decision-making processes
Our intervention
Local authorities are accompanied in management and planning of public policies through the creation of 20 training workshops on administrative and financial management, transparency, communication and participatory planning.
Instead, civil society organizations are strengthened by creating a network and a local platform, which allows them to act more effectively and in a coordinated way.
